KAELA  BLAHEY MA

Kaela has experience providing clinical counselling for a broad range of mental health challenges facing children, youth and parents. Kaela is passionate about advocating for the wellbeing of children and has devoted her career to a specialization in clinical counselling with children, youth, and adults who have experienced sexualized violence, emotional and physical abuse, neglect and children with sexual behaviour problems.

Kaela has extensive play therapy experience and training, has taught master’s level classes, and has experience working within, and an understanding of, the criminal justice system. Kaela has received advanced level training in both EMDR and Somatic Experiencing.

 
 
 
 
 
 

Naomi Ballantyne, MA

REgistered clinical counsellor

Naomi has a wealth of unique counselling experiences that enable her to creatively integrate a variety of treatment approaches to help support children, youth, and adults. Naomi has experience working on multidisciplinary teams in challenging mental health settings, including in community and in hospital, as well as in the forensic mental health system. Naomi has been honoured to be involved in providing support and treatment to remote northern Indigenous communities. Naomi is especially dedicated to providing treatment to those who have experienced current and/or historical trauma. Naomi has extensive play therapy experience and training, provided clinical consultation for master’s levels clinicians, delivered mental health courses to communities, and completed advanced training in EMDR.
